BDO Gold Cup Champion

Trina Gulliver MBE Gold Cup Champion for the third time
Nine-time Lakeside World Champion Trina Gulliver, who also last won this title in 2003, rolled back the years with wins over Michelle Andrews, Tracy Bishop, Tina Neylon and Stacey Ellis before dispatching of Roz Bulmer 3-0 in the semi-finals. She faced 2001 Gold Cup Champion Nikki Furse in the final. The pair traded the opening legs of the final comfortably, before Gulliver surged ahead critically in the fourth, and landed Double 18 with the last dart in hand to seal her first win of 2014.

Trina said: “I am delighted to win this title for a third time. There is always something special about winning on the Lakeside stage. This is a Golden Cup for a Golden Girl. To win my first title of 2014 means a lot, and I plan to use this as a sphis year.”

Welsh Open 2014 Semi Finals

England Women’s Darts Team - British International s 2014 Winners
Trina Gulliver was knockout by her teammate Deta Hedman in the Welsh Open Ladies Semi Finals at the weekend. Anastasia Dobromyslova from Russia was the eventual winner beating Deta 5-2 in the final.

British Internationals 2014 Winners

Victory for England Ladies, Men, Girls and Boys
Trina Gulliver Captains England Ladies to another British International victory. England Wales 5 - 2 and Scotland 5 - 1.

England Caps:
Trina earns her 63rd England Cap at the 2014 Britsih Internationals. Trina is the most capped Ladies darts player of all time.

6-Nations Cup 2014 Winners

Victory for England Ladies & Men
Trina Gulliver captains England Ladies to their third 6-Nations Cup victory. England beat reigning 6-Nations Champions Wales 5 - 2 in the final. England's Men followed suit by again betting the raining Men's 6-Nations Champions the Netherlands 13 - 8.

Trina Receives Her MBE

Trina Gulliver MBE 24th January 2014
Trina’s investiture took place on Friday 24th January 2014 at Buckingham Palace. The original scheduled date, 3rd October 2013, was postponed for Trina because it coincided with the Darts World Cup in Canada, an event that takes place once every two years. Trina captained England to a successful World Cup Victory.

Trina was presented her MBE medal by HRH Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace accompanied by her brother Andrew and her sister Denise. Trina wishes to thank everyone who took the time to nominate her for the award. She joined only one other professional dart player to receive an MBE at the time Eric Bristow who received his honour in 1989. Eric sadly died in 2018.

In 2019 John Lowe the three-time World Darts Champion was also awarded an MBE for services to the sport of darts and his charitable work.
